We just wrapped up an incredible weekend at the Cloverdale Rodeo, and we're excited to share our experience with you! Our You Do Voodoo booth was a crowd favourite, attracting rodeo-goers with our funny gag novelty gifts.
We had a great time as all kinds of visitors flocked to our booth to check out our political voodoo dolls. Although we only had the Truedope doll for sale, we had samples of Trump, Biden, Freeland, and Singh to show our customers what’s coming in July. Truedope wasn't just available as a voodoo doll; we also had special “Trudeau” revenge packages for truckers, cowboys, farmers and construction workers, complete with bumper stickers, appropriate accessories and funny instructions to have a laugh and alleviate stress. To celebrate upcoming Father's Day, we created many Trudeau gag inspired gift ideas such as; car window packages with suction cups attached to his arms and legs and a “Wacko on Board” sign, Trudeau in rat traps stealing your nickel and dimes, in barbecue clamps for the barbeque kind of dad , on car sponges, on plungers, and toilet bowl cleaners. Additionally we added Trudeau dog and cat Toy packages. There was something for everyone! These dolls were a hit, making for the perfect light hearted gift for politically minded friends. Our star of the show was undoubtedly the Truedope voodoo doll, which had folks lining up to snap photos and share the fun on social media.
Our road rage voodoo dolls also garnered a lot of attention, offering a fun way to blow off steam during those frustrating traffic jams. Plus, our stress dolls, worry dolls, and karma dolls quickly became rodeo must-haves, with many folks picking them up for a little extra comfort and good vibes.
We also introduced our new political piñatas at the rodeo, and they were a smashing success—literally! These piñatas added an extra layer of fun to the festivities, with rodeo-goers wanting the chance to take a swing at their favourite political figure..
We loved seeing the joy and laughter our products brought to everyone who stopped by. It was especially heartwarming to see DIY enthusiasts getting excited about our sew-your-own doll kits, ready to take a piece of the fun home with them.
